ArtBreak – the largest student Arts festival in the South!
2023 marked the 37th Annual ArtBreak Festival, a feat that would be impossible without the generosity and support of the community. 2024 brings back the seven day event hosting more than 100 schools with interactive and educational arts activities FREE to all families. Supporting ArtBreak makes it possible for SRAC to continue this tradition of excellence in Arts-in-Education for the students of Shreveport and the surrounding area.
Highlights of ArtBreak 2024 include:
Very Special ArtBreak featuring artists and students who create from the power of their imagination and their cognitive, intellectual or physical disability. Over 100 School Exhibit Booths featuring outstanding student artwork and artistic achievements are on display at ArtBreak! More than 9,000 public and private third grade students from Northwest Louisiana participating in ArtBreak’s Arts in Education 3rd Grade Days learning hands-on INTERDISCIPLINARY activities taught by professional artists! More than 2,500 original visual and literary artworks created by students in grades K-12 are showcased at ArtBreak; plus, more than 1,000 students compete for Performing Arts excellence … the juried winning works are awarded $20,000 in savings bonds, cash and prizes!

NAME A STUDENT AWARD
Honor your outstanding artist or a loved one by naming an Award for him or her! Your named award will be announced from the stage and featured on the award card in the ArtBreak Winner’s Circle of Art! Your sponsorship supports the award winner - “Budding Artist” – who will receive a check, Trophy and published literary work or framed artwork! Please consider the opportunity to extend your support with a commitment to name the award for three years!
Awards Sponsorships are $250 and will also be recognized with:
- Name of honoree on I LOVE ARTBREAK banner
- Name of honoree on Award Card under “Budding Artist’s” display
- Name of honoree announced at the ArtBreak Award Ceremony, 3:00 pm, Sunday April 14
HANDS-ON SPONSORS
Help support one of 25 Hands-on activities that feature a professional artist teaching an art form to 9,000 3rd graders and all Special Education students and 5,000 children throughout the weekend! Your sponsorship supports the supplies, materials, artists’ fees, and set up expenses for the hands-on activity. A Hands-on Sponsorship ensures that all hands-on activities are free.
Hands-on Sponsorships are $1,500 and will also be recognized with:
- Your name on the I LOVE ARTBREAK banner
- Your name on a 4’x4’ ArtBreak Exclamation Point
- Your name on the map distributed to 50,000 guests as the Sponsor of one of 25 Hands-On Art Activities
- Your name on 4’x4’ sign for the designated Hands-On Art Activity
STUDENT WORKSHOP SPONSORS
Provide a full day of training for 200 students in one of the nine “Master Classes” who are selected by their teachers to receive advanced training in artistic skills, critique, and performance with the help of three professional artists and held ALL DAY Wednesday - Friday, April 10-12!
Student Workshop Sponsorships are $1,000 and will also be recognized with:
- Your name on the I LOVE ARTBREAK banner
- Your name on a 4’x4’ sign located at the student workshop
- Your name listed on all Student Choice Award Hang Tags
